Some people have no idea what a Dogue De Bordeaux is but a
simpler name would be the French Mastiff. Most people recognize the
breed as the dog off of the movie "Turner and Hooch" that
is true it is. They are very smart dogs the males tend to be bigger
than the females and are more aggressive guard dogs. They are well
suited for an inside dog or outside if they are inside they are calmer
and get along with people better if they are outside they are more
energetic and get excited around people. They
range from 120 to 150lbs. Some can be shorter and stockier and others
can be taller and thinner it just depends on how the parents are built. They
have the temperament to be a guard dog but also have the temperament to
be a family dog that you have around your kids. they are short haired
dogs so require little to no work done to there coat to be looking there
best. They are all red in color but the white on
them depends on the dog some have more than others and some have none
at all the only parts they can have white on them is on there chest or
upper belly and there feet but does not come up there leg. All of our puppies are
handled from the day they are born to the day they go to there new
homes. All of them have a different personality from being crazy and
very energetic, playful puppies to being lazy, very laid back puppies
that want to be a big lap dog.
